POGG & HOGG

West Cornwall there are two organic gardening groups to choose from. POGG, Penwith Organic Gardeners and Growers meets in winter at the Longrock Memorial Institute on the last Tuesday of the month. HOGG is the organic group for Kerrier, Helston and the Lizard, meeting the preceding Thursday at Helston Community Centre.
Both groups visit gardens (members and others) in the summer, with informal friendly meetings.

POGG membership costs £3 per household per year, & HOGG £5. There is a joint newsletter for both groups with 10 issues per year. Members provide stamped addressed envelopes for their copy.

Community banquet

Our Community Banquet made from locally produced food. ’Local Food is MILES better’. 40% of traffic on the road transports our food, much of it unnecessarily.

Please contact us if you have any projects that you would like us to get involved with, or if you would like any further details on any of the projects listed here.
